Bicyclists:
The League of American Bicyclists released their 2014
rankings for bikeability. Virginia dropped two spaces from last year’s rankings
and is now listed as 18th. “Every year, the League ranks all 50
states on their bikeability. We do this
based on a mutli-faceted Bicycle Friendly State℠ questionnaire that is answered
by each state’s Bicycle Coordinator. We look at five categories: Legislation
& Enforcement, Policies & Programs, Infrastructure & Funding,
Education & Encouragement, and Evaluation & Planning.”
